e.         I/V Cannula Insertion for antibiotics (Excluding iv fluids and iv med icine)

• IV cannula insertion at home
• Tube inserted into a vein to provide fluids when dehydrated or can’t drink
• Nurse stationed for 60 min
• Additional charges applicable if it is beyond 60 min (Rs. 20/hr)

f.          IV Injection (Cannula already in place)

• IV injection at home
• Procedure to provide medications and electrolyte fluids intravenously, through a vein.
• Excludes medicine charges.

g.         S/C Injection/IM Injection/Vaccination (Excludes medicine)

• Subcutaneous injection at home/intramuscular injection at home/vaccination at home
• Vaccination is the administration of a vaccine to develop immunity against diseases.

h.        Enema

• Enema at home
• Procedure to cleanse or stimulate the emptying of your bowel.

i.          GRBS

• Sugar check at home
• Measuring the blood glucose level regardless of when you last ate.

j.          ABG collection

• Blood gases collection at home.
• To evaluate the respiratory diseases & Conditions that affect the lungs.

k.         Albumin Infusion

• I/V Albumin injection at home (Includes/without albumin)
• To treat/prevent the shock following injury, bleeding or burns to increase blood plasma volume.

l.          Blood Transfusion (Blood to be procured by family)

• Blood transfusion at hoe.
• A potentially life-saving procedure to replace blood lost to surgery/injury
• This procedure includes blood sample collection for cross match on the day or transfusion by nurse (2 times-One for sample collection for cross matching & another for blood administration)
• Doctor assessment and Monitoring charges for first 30 minutes of transfusion.
• Blood administration charges and emergency management (
• Excludes hospital transport in)

m.       PICC Line (Dressing/removal)

• PICC Line dressing at home
• Procedure to change the dressing that protects the catheter site.

n.        Ryles Tube Insertion

• Nasal feeding tube insertion at home
• A process that aids feeding of food and medicine through nostril, down the oesophagus.
• Ryle tube insertion with PVC tube.
• Additional charge for Fraka tube as per actuals.

o.         Suture Removal (With Stapler/with scissor) by Nurse

• Stitch removal (With stapler/with scissor) by nurse.
• Removal of staples with a sterile technique and a staple extractor by a Nurse.
• Removal of stiches with a sterile technique and a scissor by a Nurse.

p.         TPN Infusion (Total Parental Nutrition Bag)

• IV Nutrition bag infusion at home
• For parenteral nutrition given as a liquid solution directly into the blood stream.
• Up to 24 Hrs via infusion pump including 3 chambered bag with medicine.

q.        Wond Debridement

• Wound debridement at home
• A procedure to heal the wound when it is healing well on its own.
• Surgical sharp and conservative sharp debridement is performed by a skilled practitioner using surgical instruments such as scalpel, curette, scissor, rongeur, and forceps.

r.          Chemo port Handling at Home

• Procedure charges additional (TPN/Blood transfusion/Chemo therapy /IV fluids/IV medication/IV antibiotics)
• Chemo port at home
• Care for chemo port to ensure non-clogging of blood or medicine when is not in use

s.         Plasma Infusion (At Home)

• Plasma infusion (Along with 5 bags of plasma)
• This procedure includes Blood sample collection for cross match on the day of transfusion by nurse.
• Doctor assessment and monitoring charges for first 30 minutes of transfusion.
• Plasma administration charges and emergency management (Excludes hospital transport in emergency)
• The donated blood is processed to remove blood cells, leaving behind liquid (Plasma) and antibodies to fight viruses.

t.         Colostomy Bag Change (Colostomy bag to be procure by family)

• Closed bags may need changing 1 to 3 times a day.
• There are also drainable bags that need to be replaced every 2 or 3 days
